How we can help
MamaTrack is a premium pregnancy companion app for iOS and Android—built to guide expectant mothers through all 40 weeks of pregnancy with beautiful milestones, a 3D fetal viewer, size visualizations, kick counting, contraction timing, and smart planning tools. This page answers common questions, lists device requirements, and explains how to reach us for technical support.
Installation & updates
- App Store & Google Play: Install and update MamaTrack from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Updates are delivered automatically through your store like other apps.
- First launch: Complete the onboarding flow — accept the privacy policy, enter your name and role (Mom-to-be, Partner, or Family Member), and set your due date via LMP, EDD, or conception date. The app tailors your experience based on these inputs.
- Permissions: MamaTrack may request access to your calendar (prenatal appointment reminders), camera (bump photos), photo library (saving milestone images), and notifications (weekly pregnancy updates and appointment alerts). Grant only the permissions you wish to use—core tracking works without them.
Device requirements
- iOS: iPhone or iPad running a recent version of iOS/iPadOS (see the App Store product page for the current minimum version). Tablet layout supported.
- Android: Any Android phone or tablet meeting the minimum OS version listed on the Google Play product page.
- Network: An internet connection is required during the initial setup, for in-app purchases and purchase restoration, and to load app content when needed. After onboarding is completed, core tracking features such as the pregnancy timeline, kick counter, contraction timer, weight log, and bump gallery work fully on-device.
- Storage: A small amount of local storage is used to save your pregnancy data, bump photos, and preference settings on your device.
Frequently asked questions
- Is MamaTrack free? Yes — core features are completely free to download and use. Premium tools (3D Fetal Viewer, Appointments tracker, Baby Names wishlist, and Premium Articles) require an in-app subscription, managed through Apple or Google's standard billing systems.
- Which platforms are supported? MamaTrack is available on iOS (iPhone & iPad) and Android. See the App Store or Google Play listing for the minimum OS version required.
- How does due-date calculation work? During onboarding you can enter your last menstrual period (LMP), estimated due date (EDD), or conception date. MamaTrack calculates your gestational age and due date automatically and keeps your timeline updated.
- What is the 3D Fetal Viewer? An interactive 3D model of your baby that updates week by week. You can rotate, zoom, and explore anatomical points of interest in real time, running natively on your device — no internet required after loading.
- Where is my pregnancy data stored? Your data (due date, weight logs, kick counts, bump photos, planner entries) is stored on your device using secure local storage. It is never sold to third parties. Calendar integration and notifications only activate when you explicitly enable them.
- How do I cancel a Premium subscription? Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID (iOS) or Google Play account (Android). Visit your device's Subscriptions settings to cancel at any time — no action is required within MamaTrack itself.
- The app is not tracking my kicks / contractions correctly. Ensure you tap Start and Stop accurately for each event. If data appears missing, check that you have not cleared app storage in your device settings. Contact support if the issue persists.
Privacy & data
MamaTrack is designed with your privacy in mind. Pregnancy data — including your due date, weight logs, kick counts, contraction records, bump photos, planner entries, and baby name shortlists — is stored locally on your device and is never sold to third parties.
- Calendar & reminders: Access is requested only if you enable appointment tracking. MamaTrack writes reminder events to your calendar and can alert you before prenatal visits.
- Camera & photos: Access is requested only if you use the Bump Gallery feature to capture or save progress photos.
- Notifications: Push notifications are used for weekly pregnancy updates and appointment reminders. You can manage or disable them at any time in your device Settings.
- Authentication: Sign-in is handled securely via Google, Apple, or email. We do not store raw passwords.
- In-app purchases: Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). MamaTrack does not handle or store payment card details.
For App Store purchases, Apple's standard privacy disclosures and payment processing apply. For a full privacy policy, see the link in the App Store / Google Play listing.
